We believe censorship is the act of banning or simply creating laws or regulations that make it difficult to stream freely. This can come from Governments or the Streaming Network itself.

Brazil
Rumble: Brazil wants to censor free speech and has therefore banned Rumble.
X: Brazil wants to censor free speech and has therefore banned X.
China
China does not allow United States social networks.

France
Rumble: France wants to censor free speech and has therefore banned Rumble.
Russia
Rumble: Russia wants to control free speech and have access to user data. Russia, despite streaming their state funded news network RT on Rmble for years, is enforcing a law that Rumble cannot comply with in order to censor the network. Russia decided to enforce this law after Rumble refused to censor a channel (Source).
South Korea
Twitch: South Korea has enacted strict requirements that forced Twitch to cease streaming.
United States of America
The Twitter Files suggest that the government was working with social media companies to censor certain topics. As of June 4, 2024 there is a major network that continues to place covid warning labels on live streams that mention covid, even when it is a Federal Government Live Stream.
